You and your GP practice (YYGP)

At our practice, we believe healthcare works best when it’s a partnership between you and your GP team. "You and Your GP Practice" is about making sure you understand the services we provide, how you can access them, and what we ask of you in return so that together we can give you the best possible care.

What this means for you

  • Access to care – You can book appointments with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are here to support your health and wellbeing.
  • Choice and information – We’ll provide clear information about your treatment options, test results, and referrals, helping you make informed decisions about your care.
  • Respect and confidentiality – We will always treat you with respect and dignity, and your medical information will be kept secure and confidential.

What we ask from you

  • Respect for our team – Please treat our staff with the same courtesy and understanding you would expect yourself.
  • Using services responsibly – Please attend appointments on time, cancel if you can’t attend, and use urgent and emergency services only when necessary.
  • Working together – By sharing accurate information and following medical advice, you help us provide the best care possible.

Why it matters

  • A strong relationship between you and your GP Practice means better communication, smoother care, and improved health outcomes for you and your community.
